The present document describes how personal data of users are processed in this website. Data are processed in compliance with lawfulness and fairness requirements and with the applicable regulations and are taken appropriate security measures to protect data.

This privacy policy is strictly referred  to the present website of illycaffè S.p.A., not for other websites that users may access by clicking on the relevant links. These websites are independent data controllers and therefore reference must be made to their policy.

This privacy policy is also based on the recommendation n. 2/2001 that the European Data Protection Authorities – i.e. members of the Working Group set up in line with article 29 of the directive 95/46/EC – adopted on 17 May 2011 to identify a series of minimum standards on online collection of personal data, in particular procedures, time limits and nature of data. Data controller are required to provide users with the relevant information when they visit their web pages irrespective of the aims of the access.

Type of processed data and processing procedures

Navigation Data

IT systems and software procedures of this website, in the framework of their regular operation, acquires some personal data whose transfer is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

These data are not collected with a view to linking them to their holders. However, these are data that, by their very nature, with processing and cross-reference with data of third parties, may identify users.

The optional, explicit and voluntary e-mail to the addresses specified on this site, involves the acquisition of the sender’s address necessary to respond to requests, and any other data included in the message (and attachments to the same) or the forms provided. Where have reported only the e-mail contact without proper form, by sending e-mail you consent to the processing of data (e-mail and data contained within the request) from illycaffè , in accordance with this privacy policy in order to respond to e-mail and responding to requests contained therein. Section 7 of D.Lgs. 196/2003 – Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights

  1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
  2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed

a)     of the source of the personal data;

b)     of the purposes and methods of the processing;

c)     of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d)     of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5(2);

e)     of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

  1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain

a)     updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b)     erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;

c)     certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

  1. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part,

a)     on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b)     to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.

 

Notice and Disclosure Scope

No data from the web service (i.e. the above navigation data) may be notified or disclosed (except for notification to the judiciary or the police, if required).

The data may be processed by persons in charge (administrative staff, staff in charge of external relations, IT staff that may also be system managers, IT experts that may also be system managers, members, agents, marketing staff, interns, Data Processors and their staff, staff of the specific area to which a request is made) only insofar the processing is instrumental to implement the tasks assigned by illycaffè, exclusively for the activities which are necessary to such end.

Data may also be processed by Data Processors (including Companies  external to the Company in charge of mailing, marketing, administration and maintenance of servers, website administration). The external Companies may process the data through staff who can perform the same tasks and process data for the same purposes for which Data processors have been appointed by illycaffè.

In relation to persons in charge of processing the data, it also refers to specific information contained within the site depending on the requested service.

The data you provide may be disclosed to the subjects for which there is a obligation pursuant to law or to enforce a just right of the company at the bodies responsible; the data may be disclosed to any carriers/shippers for the shipment of illycaffè material required; the data will be communicated to the categories of persons as may be specified in the specific information in the various sections of the site.
